💻 1 live learning lesson per week (4-5 per month) – In these highly engaging and easy-to-understand lessons, we will cover all the essential AP Chemistry topics, skills, and equations with numerous examples. Students are often amazed by how much they learn and progress in just one session. The recording and notes will be uploaded to the class portal afterward for students to review.
✍️ 1 live practice lesson per week (4-5 per month) – In these small group practice sessions, students will apply what they’ve learned by working through high-yield AP Chemistry questions. They will also receive live individual feedback, ensuring they develop the right habits and gain confidence immediately. Students are required to attend one practice session each week, but they are welcome to attend more if they desire additional feedback and there are openings in the sessions. There are multiple practice sessions each week.
👨🏫 1 optional drop-in tutoring session per week (4-5 per month) – The drop-in tutoring sessions recognize that each student’s AP Chemistry class progresses at different speeds. Students can join these sessions to get all their questions answered in real-time, work through homework, complete labs, and prepare for class exams.
❓ Anytime, anywhere Q&A support – What if a student has questions in between sessions or needs urgent clarification before a big exam? Students can ask questions anytime in the Discord channel and receive a video, written, or text explanation within a couple of hours. We’re here to support our students. Students who utilize this resource and ask the most questions are the ones who usually do the best.
🧪 AP Chemistry Masterclass Access – A common concern parents and students have is that the AP Chemistry Accelerator program moves at a different pace than the student’s class. The AP Chemistry Masterclass addresses this issue. If a student wants to study the chapter they’re currently on, review previous chapters, or pre-learn future ones, they can easily access the masterclass. This comprehensive resource includes over 200 concise videos covering every AP Chemistry skill, organized by units and chapters according to the AP curriculum. Additionally, each video is accompanied by practice problems. If students have questions, they can join the drop-in tutoring sessions or ask in the Discord channel for prompt assistance.
📝 Over 1000 AP level practice questions – Never run out of practice material ever again. These are high yield questions types that teachers love using on their exams.
📖 Practice exams on every unit – AP level multiple choice and free response with solutions. If you work through these exams, you’ll get used to the AP style questions and be extremely prepared for your class exam and the AP exam in May.
✅ Skills checklist – This checklist shows all the skills students are required to know from each unit so they can quickly assess their understanding and spot gaps in their knowledge. With this checklist, students will never forget to study a skill again.
📃 Full AP Chemistry equation guide – 40 + page guide showing every single equation in AP Chemistry, what each of the variables and units are, and when to use which equation. This guide will help students overcome the difficulty of figuring out which equation to use for a particular problem.

Schedule
- Learning session: Sundays 4-5 pm PST. Attendance is highly recommended. If the student cannot attend the learning session, the student can watch the recording & review the detailed notes.
- Practice sessions: Mondays 6-7 pm PST, Tuesdays 7-8 pm PST, Wednesdays 3:30-4:30 pm PST. More time will be added throughout the school year. Students are required to attend one practice session each week.
- Drop in tutoring sessions: Wednesday 6-7 pm PST, Friday 5 pm PST
- AP Chemistry Accelerator Program starts on 8/18 and runs until the AP Chemistry exam in early May.

2023 – 2024 AP Chemistry Results
The national pass rate for AP Chemistry is 75%, which is significantly higher than historical pass rates. We worked with 33 students in the 2023- 2024 school year. All 33 of the students passed. 54% of students we worked with achieved the highest score of a 5, compared to 17% nationally. Over 84% of students achieved a 4 or a 5, compared to 43% nationally.
Okay, so the Accelerator Program has clearly worked for others. But will it work for me specifically?
Well that depends. This program gives you everything you need to excel in AP Chemistry and will save you a lot of time and stress, but you still need to put in the work.
If you’re looking for a magic bullet and aren’t willing to put in the effort, then this program is not for you.
Now, if you are willing to put in the effort, then you WILL see an improvement in your AP Chemistry grade and feel way more confident with the material.

How Much Does this Cost?
For context, you could pay an average tutor several hundred to over $1000 per month, but you’ll be getting much less support. This can be much more if the tutor isn’t efficiently teaching you the material. The tutor also will most likely just help you with your homework, but may not help you prepare for exams or teach you how to deconstruct problems. You may even leave the tutoring sessions more confused if the tutor isn’t very good, which can likely happen as excellent chemistry tutors are difficult to find.
What if you need help in between tutoring sessions? Where do you go? You’re most likely on your own. Tutors charge by the hour so they aren’t very inclined to help you in between sessions. What if you need extra practice problems and study material? Again, you’re on your own. You’ll have to search the internet, but then you won’t even know if the resources are any good. Also how do you know if the tutor is covering everything that may show up on the exam? You don’t know…
